Ippodo, a Japanese tea company based in Kyoto, has just introduced an elegant green-tea sampler. Tidy canisters hold five typical styles: powdered matcha, whole-leaf sencha, shade-grown gyokuro, nutty roasted hojicha and genmaicha, a tea mixed with brown rice: Set of five green teas, $80; three green teas, $55; ippodo-tea.co.jp/en.
