Zurich Salvatore Esposito and Brian John McCormick were married Aug. 10 at the Arts Club of Chicago. The couple’s nephew, Christopher McCormick, an ordained minister of the World Christianship Ministries, officiated.

Mr. Esposito (left), 52, is the executive vice president of AIA Chicago, the Chicago chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He holds a master’s degree in historic preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

He is the son of the late Elizabeth Giger and the late Salvatore Esposito, who lived in Hinsdale, Ill. His mother was a commercial artist, teacher and journalist. His father was a news director for WBBM-TV, Chicago’s CBS affiliate.

Mr. McCormick, 59, is an eighth-grade humanities teacher at Burley School, a Chicago public elementary school.

He is a son of Thomas J. McCormick of Burr Ridge, Ill., and the late Marcia A. McCormick. His father, now retired, was a marketing executive in the Chicago office of IBM.

The couple met at a gym in Chicago in September 2001.
